In 2022, I encountered an article published in Gorkha Patra that explored how executive barriers were perpetuating overcrowding in Nepal’s Juvenile Detention Centres. As someone who has always viewed writing as a tool for impact, I created this booklet for Nepalese children to make sure that familiarity with Nepal’s unique Juvenile Justice System is developed early.
